Bernardo Zelaya Agramont
A lawyer by profession, he graduated from the Universidad Privada Boliviana in 2006, where he passed all his courses in just three years and six months with a grade point average of over 80%.
He also earned a degree in securities law through his thesis defense, receiving honorable mention SUMA CUM LAUDE, with a grade of 96.
Subsequently, he completed more than five postgraduate courses, along with several diplomas in civil procedure, hydrocarbons, tax law, and other matters.
In 2008, he was awarded a Carolina Foundation scholarship to participate in the Master's Program in Business Legal Consulting at the Instituto de Empresa in Madrid, being selected from a total of 171,000 participants from all over Latin America.
He earned a Master's Degree in Business Legal Consulting from the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid in collaboration with Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland.
Regarding his certified work experience, Bernardo Zelaya has worked in both public and private institutions. He has specific experience in the Bolivian stock market, having worked at the Financial System Supervisory Authority, the Corporate Oversight and Social Control Authority, among other institutions. He also has specific experience in trusts, having structured the largest future cash flow trust in Bolivian history.
Currently, he focuses primarily on legal disputes, providing advice to companies, primarily those related to real estate, construction, telecommunications, and mining, among others, and even serving on their boards.
In the legal field, he has provided legal representation from start to finish in civil, criminal, and constitutional proceedings. Today, he is constantly on the move, having handled more than 30 constitutional amparos, more than 20 criminal proceedings, and 18 civil proceedings since 2020 alone, with satisfactory results for his clients.
